This week, we proudly recognize the unsung heroes behind the scenes our public safety dispatchers. Since 1991, the second week of April has been set aside to honor their critical role in emergency response.

We pay special tribute to the Dispatchers of the Center Moriches Fire Department Communications Center the most important people you never see. Whether it's a routine call or a life-threatening emergency, they answer every call with professionalism, calm, and unwavering dedication.
