Each week during the summer, members from the Center Moriches Fire Department visits the campers at Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck, a very special place for children with disabilities. The Department gives fire prevention demonstrations to the children, and displays all of the apparatus for the children to explore.
Firefighters and EMS personnel look forward each year to carrying out this tradition as they have done for decades. The highlight of the visit is when CMFD Tower Ladder shoots water into the sky, and the children run under its spray.
