This past Sunday morning our Explorers had a chance to train with our Water Rescue Team.

The Explorers were given an in-depth tour of Marine 26, exploring its advanced electronics and vital safety equipment. They also learned about the personal protective gear worn by our boat crews and rescue swimmers.

After the briefing, the Explorers headed out into Moriches Bay, where they got to see firsthand the firefighting capabilities of Marine 26 and had the chance to practice operating the deck gun.

We are incredibly proud of our Explorers, who continue to gain valuable skills that will serve them well when they officially join the Center Moriches Fire Department.
