It is with deep regret the Center Moriches Fire Department announces the passing of Ex Chief, Past Commissioner and 75-year life member Kenneth H. Johnson.

A lifelong resident of Center Moriches, Kenneth was 92 years old when he passed away.

Mr. Johnson joined the Center Moriches Fire Department in 1949 and was assigned to Company One. In 1975 Kenneth Johnson was elected Chief of the Department for which he held for 2 years. Mr. Johnson also held the position of Fire Commissioner from 2011 to 2015.

Wake services will take place at the Robertaccio Funeral Home 495 Main St, Center Moriches on Friday January 26th 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm.

Firematic Services Friday January 26th at 7:30pm

Funeral Saturday January 27th 9am at the Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist with interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
