At 1:43 PM on Friday, Center Moriches Firefighters were requested to assist the Brookhaven Fire Department at the scene of a building fire at Glover Farms on Victory Avenue.

Upon arrival, Brookhaven Firefighters encountered a large storage building fully involved in fire and immediately requested mutual aid from neighboring departments.

Center Moriches responded with an engine and assisted with fire suppression and overhaul operations. Our firefighters remained on scene for approximately two hours before being released.
